MEET..
Courtney Hutchinson, a 24-year-old aspiring creative director from Northern Ireland living in Vancouver, BC.
She started learning fundamental Adobe Photoshop skills in her GCSE Art & Design class in school, and from there began creating magazine covers, album covers and advertising mock-ups. Courtney continued her Art & Design studies through to A-Level, focusing solely on graphic design, photography and branding. Alongside this, she had taken up a new subject - Moving Image Arts. This confirmed to her how much she loved photography, film and particularly post-production editing. As her skills grew she knew this was something she wanted to do as a career.
Courtney went on to complete a BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion degree from Nottingham Trent University where she learned new skills to an advanced level, for example, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Skills like photography and creative direction developed further through many studio and on-location shoots as well as workshops with professionals from the industry like Lord Whitney, Intern Magazine and Stack.
Courtney particularly excels in campaign production, where she gets to utilize her skills in photography, post-production and graphic design.
